The main ‘body’ of the tune is 7 followed by 8 “beats” if you want to put a four o 8 underneath go for it

But could be expressed as 1 bar 7/8 followed by 2 bars 4/4 or one bar 7/4 followed by 1 bar 8/4

Good groove there for sure.

who’d a thought deciding to follow Jesus would be so much fun? Great job Mike! You guys are super tight! We were playing this in the kitchen just the other night while making supper! The spicy quesadillas never tasted so good! When’s the trio coming to S’toon? Looking forward to the symphony gig in December.

Not that many years ago I was able to hear Mike’s practice sessions on our Sanctuary piano almost weekly…sadly all things pass with time,but it sure was great to close my eyes and listen to this and remember just what a great talent you are Mike. Thanks for a lifetime of Memories…Victor.

Wow. That’s a fun piece. What’s sort of time signatures are going on here? I’m a hobby drummer who barely ventures out of 4/4 and I’m in awe of some of the stuff the jazz musicians come up with. Thanks!
