Glen Soderholm
Glen has a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from the University of Toronto and Master of Divinity degree from Knox College (Toronto School of Theology). He was ordained as a minister with the Presbyterian Church in Canada in 1991 and served in two congregations in the Campbellville, ON area for 13 years.
Glen has a deep interest in, and passion for, the worship life of the church. He has been
involved in the church’s worship for many years as participant, leader, pastor, provocateur, and
resource person within a variety of settings. In that time he has released four recordings: In
the Belly of the Fish (1997) By Faint Degrees (2000) Rest (2003) and World Without End
(2006). Glen’s artistry has been inspired by the likes of Bruce Cockburn, Paul Simon, Mark
Heard, and Shawn Colvin. His own compositions are now becoming well used by
congregations throughout Canada. Glen’s music is distributed by Signpost Music out of
Winnipeg, Manitoba – a unique Canadian distributor of quality independent music (including,
amongst others, Carolyn Arends, Jacob Moon, and Fergus Marsh). Signpost was founded by
and hosts two-time Juno award winning artist Steve Bell – their website is

Glen travels throughout Canada to consult, perform, teach, and lead others in worship. His
consulting work is done within the context of many church traditions affirming and
challenging faith communities to think deeply about the assumptions they make concerning
their worship as congregations and individuals. He believes that vibrant worship will help
churches develop health and growth.
The work of Moveable Feast is ably enhanced by Glen’s associate David White. Besides being
a multi-instrumentalist, David is also a sound engineering expert, and together they work as a
team to coach sound operators and musicians in achieving their maximum potential as praise
leaders.
Glen’s passion also extends to helping other organizations through charitable efforts. He has
participated in disaster relief fundraisers as well as being an active Artist Associate with World
Vision where he promotes their child sponsorship program.
