There are some concerts you wish would never end – the musicians are playing their hearts out, the audience is fully engaged, the hall sounds great and there is a sense that something is happening that is greater than just the sum of the parts. I’ve been blessed with more than my fair share of nights like that – especially where the symphony concerts are concerned.November 18th, 2007 the band and I played at the fabulous Francis Winspear Centre for Music in Edmonton with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. If you were there, you might feel as I do – it was a extraordinary evening. And now, because we were able to film that concert, we can offer it on DVD. Nothing beats the real thing, but we shot the film in High Definition and mixed it in 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound to put every viewer in the best seat in the house.
